About

Dr. Alba has a sustained interest in shining a light in better understanding how human and organizational factors contribute to human well-being and organizational performance. At the University of Michigan, Alba sought to better understand how psychosocial factors affect human behavior. In her work at the University of Alberta, Alba engaged in investigating the role of organizational context on employees’ psychological empowerment. Presently, at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, together with Dr. Whitney Berta, Alba is focusing on better understanding the sustainability of the effects of interventions considering the micro, meso, and macro- organizational context levels.
