Please join us at IHPME’s annual Moonshot celebration, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, at the beautiful Art Gallery of Ontario.

This year’s keynote theme is Opportunities and Threats of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Health Care. We will explore the potential of AI to enable personalized and more efficient care, while looking critically at the risk of harms it poses and the need for thoughtful and cautious implementation of AI and machine learning.

Our keynote speaker is Dr. Amol Verma, a physician and scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital, Unity Health Toronto. Dr. Verma is the Temerty Professor of AI Research and Education in Medicine at the University of Toronto. He will share cutting-edge research and insights from the front line on the promise and perils of AI in health care.

Moonshot is an opportunity to connect and network with members of the IHPME community. The celebration will also include presentations of the Louise Lemieux-Charles Health System Leadership Award and the Peggy Leatt Knowledge and Impact Award for alumni who are driving innovation and serving as inspirational health system leaders. 

Food and drinks will be served. Each guest will receive one drink ticket, and the cash bar will accept both cash and credit/debit cards.
