The 2015 Preventing Overdiagnosis conference is hosted by the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute. David Henry, IHPME faculty, is a member of the organizing committee for this conference.

This years conference will focus on the driving factors of overdiagnosis, its consequences, and strategies for preventing or mitigating those consequences.

Register to submit an abstract, deadline – Midnight March 31st 2015.

Presentation formats available are poster, oral, workshop and seminar.

Categories are –

  • Description of the problem (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Analytics, forces that drive overdiagnosis
  • Interventions to limit or address overdiagnosis

Conference registration is open with an early bird ticket price of £355.
