Through my work at various government health agencies (F/P/T) and the Ontario Ministry of Health, I lead large-scale initiatives with the goal of enabling evidence-based policies. Through the combination of accountability, performance measurement, data science, and evaluation methods, this has led to many ‘firsts’ in the province, including piloting the Ministry’s ehealth investment management framework, overseeing out-of-country reimbursements for health crisis conditions, and creating data systems to drive analytics needs to ensure the best outcomes in our children and youths in various paediatric programs.
