Roxana Sultan serves as the Vector Institute’s Chief Partnerships Officer, Broader Public Sector (BPS). She is responsible for the establishment, growth, and maintenance of high-impact partnerships within Canada’s BPS, enabling the Vector Institute to meet its mandate of driving excellence and leadership in Canada’s knowledge, creation, and use of AI to foster economic growth and improve the lives of Canadians.
Roxana has previously held the positions of Chief Data Officer and Vice President, Health at Vector, bringing over 20 years of health sector leadership to these roles. Roxana has led transformative initiatives across leading Canadian institutions, including the University Health Network, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Cancer Care Ontario (now Ontario Health), and the Hospital for Sick Children.
As an Adjunct Professor with the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto (UofT), Roxana teaches at the graduate-level on the topics of intelligent medicine and machine learning.
Roxana completed her graduate education with the Department of Molecular and Medical Genetics at UofT, and also holds a Masters of Health Science from IHPME.
