Professional Interests
Victoria’s clinical research program aims to improve the delivery of neurocritical care and outcomes in patients with acute brain injury. Specifically, she works to achieve this goal through two complementary research areas: (1) addressing clinical epidemiology and health services research questions relevant to neurocritical care processes of care, and (2) developing new strategies to detect and prevent secondary brain injury using an integrative neurophysiologic monitoring approach.
The Canadian COVID-19 Prospective Cohort Study (CANCOV) is a platform observational study that provides a comprehensive evaluation of early to 2-year outcomes in patients with COVID-19 and their family caregivers.
