How can economic analyses and health technology assessment help improve health care for individuals requiring rehabilitation? Dr. Chan’s research activities focus on exploring this question. He is involved with projects that evaluate the economics of devices and rehabilitation therapies for individuals with spinal cord injury. Dr. Chan is also interested in understanding how health technology assessment can facilitate the development of devices that will have a real-world impact on the function of individuals with disability.
