Full and Flex-Time Study Options

PhD Health Services Research

In order to make our research-based programs more accessible to students we have introduced a range of program formats including full-time and flex-time study. However, most classes are still held between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Students must declare their intentions to study full- or flex-time at the beginning of their program, and cannot switch their status mid-way during the program. Flex-time students pay full-time fees for the first four years of their program and then part-time fees until their graduation. Flex-time students have up to eight years to successfully complete the requirements of the degree. Full-time students pay full-time fees for the duration of their program and have up to six years to successfully complete the requirements of the degree.
