Join the Emerging Pathogens & Infectious Diseases Consortium (EPIC) at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and the Institute for Aerospace Studies within the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering for a joint special seminar featuring visiting professor Charles Haas (Drexel University, Philadelphia, USA).

Haas is a member of the National Academy of Engineers and a professor of environmental engineering at Drexel University. He has pioneered numerous techniques for using environmental engineering to study and control the dispersion of pathogens through air, water, dust and soil. In this special seminar he will be presenting a talk titled “Environmental engineering for pathogen control.” Following this, we will have an informal Q&A and networking session.

This seminar is open to all students, staff and faculty at the University of Toronto and hospital partners (The Hospital for Sick Children, University Health Network, Unity Health Toronto, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute/Sinai Health).
